Campworld Bloemfontein stands behind the quality of the products we sell. This Warranty Policy outlines your rights regarding defective or faulty products under South African law and our in-house warranty guidelines.
All warranties are in line with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), 2008, ensuring fair practice, reasonable quality, and the right to return, replace, or repair.
2. Warranty Coverage
We offer a standard 6-month warranty on all new products sold, unless otherwise specified. Some products may come with manufacturer warranties exceeding 6 months.
Warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects
- Workmanship faults
- Material defects
3. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover the following:
- Damage due to misuse, abuse, accidents, or neglect
- Wear and tear from normal use
- Modification, tampering, or repair by unauthorized persons
- Cosmetic damages (scratches, dents, discoloration)
- Damage due to water or environmental exposure (unless specified as weatherproof)
- Batteries, fuses, or consumable parts unless specified
4. Proof of Purchase
Warranty claims must include:
- Original proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)
- Clear description of the defect
- Photos or video, if possible, to help assess the issue
5. Claim Process
To make a warranty claim, follow these steps:

2. Provide order number, contact info, and description of the issue.
3. If the product must be returned, we will arrange a collection or instruct you on the return process.
4. Our team will inspect the item and determine eligibility for repair, replacement, or refund.
6. Repair, Replace or Refund
In line with the CPA, if a product fails within the warranty period due to a defect:
We will offer to repair, replace, or refund the item.
If a repair or replacement is not feasible, you may opt for a refund.
If a repair fails again within 3 months, you have the right to request a refund or replacement.
7. Warranty for Repaired Items
Repaired items carry a 3-month warranty from the date of repair, applicable only to the fixed fault or replaced part.
8. Third-Party Warranties
Products with manufacturer or supplier warranties will be subject to their terms and may require you to contact the manufacturer directly. We will assist with facilitating the process where possible.
9. Shipping for Warranty Returns
If the defect is confirmed, Campworld Bloemfontein will cover return shipping.
If the product is found not to be defective or warranty-eligible, the customer will bear return costs.
10. Legal Rights
This warranty policy does not limit or replace your legal rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008. You are entitled to goods that are:
Of good quality and free from defects
Fit for the purpose they were sold
Durable and usable for a reasonable period of time
